Lighting designers in need of a bright, linear LED light strip should check out the American DJ Ultra LB18, a 40" versatile LED linear fixture that has 18 x 10W, 5-in-1 HEX LEDs (RGBA+Lime). The 17x40° beam angle makes it especially useful for wide washes and its dual mounting brackets also function as floor stands, making it ideal for uplighting applications. A glare shield is provided to block the LEDs from glare/view while offering protection during transport.
The fixture utilizes American DJ's patent-pending Quick Align system features end-locking magnets, enabling multiple HEX bars to be easily linked end-to-end for seamless output with no breaks of color. You can daisy-chain up to 12 units together via the fixture's built-in IEC in/out power connectors (120V). The Ultra LB18 includes the American DJ UC IR, an easy-to-use wireless infrared remote. Alternatively, the fixture may be operated via a DMX controller or the unit's built-in programs. A power cable and two mounting brackets are also included.
