The Electro-Voice Evolve 50M is a versatile, ultra-compact PA system ideal for small to midsize venues. With 1,000 watts of power, it works well as a standalone system for solo performers or can be linked with additional units for larger setups. The system is made up of three main components: a powerful 12-inch subwoofer, a lightweight aluminum pole, and a column array featuring eight 3.5-inch neodymium drivers.
Its custom waveguide design delivers 120° horizontal and 40° vertical coverage, helping ensure clear, consistent sound throughout the space. An onboard 8-channel digital mixer accommodates microphones, instruments, and more, making it suitable for a wide range of performance needs. Wireless control via the QuickSmart mobile app and built-in Bluetooth streaming add convenience and flexibility, while the collapsible, portable design makes transport and setup quick and easy.
The fully configurable mixer can be controlled directly from your smartphone and includes four presets for common applications. It features a 3-band EQ, onboard compression, dual effects sends, and independent gain controls for each channel. You can also choose from 30 built-in effects such as reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, and echo to enhance your sound.
Designed for strong, clear audio performance, the column array pairs its eight neodymium drivers with the 12-inch subwoofer to deliver up to 127 dB SPL, with a frequency response down to 43 Hz. This combination ensures balanced, full-range sound coverage across the venue.
Weighing just under 58 pounds, the Evolve 50M is built for portability. It includes a carrying solution for easy transport, and setup is straightforward thanks to the two-piece aluminum pole that connects the system and carries the audio signal internally.
