Experience the power of digital mixing in a compact 4 RU enclosure with the Allen & Heath SQ-Rack, a 48-channel, 36-bus digital mixing console well suited for live sound, corporate A/V, recording studios, and houses of worship. The SQ-Rack features 16 professional-quality microphone preamps, eight stereo FX engines with dedicated return channels, and access to the RackExtra FX library with dozens of emulation of legendary classic reverbs, delays, modulators, and more. The mixer's 12 stereo outputs (configurable as groups or auxes) are well suited for in-ear-monitor setups, while the Auto Mic Mixing function offers quick and easy operation over multiple microphones for conferences, panel talks, and more.
At the heart of the SQ-Rack lies the 96 kHz XCVI Core FPGA engine, which delivers professional, high-resolution audio quality, ultralow latency (less than 0.7 ms), variable bit depth for precision and noise performance, mix coherency down to the sample, and the power to handle high channel / mix counts and ample FX processing. The SQ's DEEP processing architecture allows you to hand-pick boutique compressor and preamp emulations and embed them directly within the mixer's inputs and mix channels, all without adding system latency or setup hassles.

- The SQ MixPad app for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS provides access to the SQ-Rack’s mixing functions from anywhere in the venue, with an offline mode allowing preparation of scenes or shows away from the venue.
- For less technical users, the SQ-Control app provides simplified access in-app in addition to a dedicated screen on the SQ-Rack itself. SQ-Control can be configured by an admin user to deliver just the right amount of control for each application or dry hire, whether that’s single fader control of background music from behind the bar or controlling live stream levels in a house of worship.Processing and FX
- Every input has HPF, a super-fast gate with sidechain and filter, a musical 4-band parametric equalizer with RTA, and Peak/RMS compressor for control and shaping of levels and transients.
